Unicorns on earth: Dorrit Bradshaw

Hola!
The Smiths y Six Pistols bandas de cabecera.

Hello! This week I chose a fictional character for the section Unicorn of the week. Dorrit Bradshaw a little sister of Carrie in the show "The Carrie Diaries"
Dorrit she´s 14 and her mother who died recently and is tackling adolescence in a complicated way.
She´s rebel, runaway for home, rejects anything that represents authority, she thinks that anyone especially adults, are stupid.
She wears a lot of black or patterned clothes with rockers skulls, dead rabbits, wild bears ... etc.  Hides her baby face behind makeup very marked in black ofcourse and loves all English bands representing some form of depression or  deep pain in the soul. Six Pistols The Smiths are the top ones. She had a hamster called Morrisey.
Why do I like her? Because it's beautiful, underneath all that anger, that rage and black pounds of eyeliner shes only a girl  too afraid to show the world as it is.
Adolescence is a difficult time of life. Some people take it and enjoy it, there are others that we (I say we why I include myself in this group) difficult to start to be and adult.
I admire at the Dorrits of the world because they dare not belong.  They want to be authentic, They dare to not t ask for the sweet sixteen, to be themselves although the most top of the school don´t speak and don´t invite to cool parties.
You have to be very brave to take 15 years to decide not to be liked all. Hurra for the Dorrits of the world because they knows that the world is a bigger place than the school or clubs and there are about to find out
